European partners held their first working meeting at the Chamber of Commerce of Cantabria.
STEPS (Smooth Transition to Employability and Professional Skills from School & VET), framed into Erasmus+, is a strategic association for innovation and good practice exchange. The aim of “STEPS” (Smooth Transition to Employability and Professional Skills from School & VET) is to promote a European vision of business from school and VET (Vocational Education and Training).
STEPS delivers this through the provision of career and employability information and guidance tools and resources, in order to promote a smooth transition into the labour market from schools and VET providers. Through sharing knowledge, experiences and good practices across the European project’s partners, the project endeavours to benefit students, teachers and businesses making them aware of the advantages and challenges of being part of the European labour market.
STEPS is a project full of ideas and enthusiasm with a double objective: to address the issues described above and promote collaboration and direct participation from young people of different countries and cultures.
